Your beach-day choices.

Zephyr Cove is a community as well as a resort destination. The resort beach, nearby day-use beaches and private neighborhood amenities each have their own access rules.

Choose your kind of lake day

Start with the Zephyr Cove Marina for seasonal powerboat and personal-watercraft rentals, paddling and parasailing offerings. Buoy rentals are a separate reservation for owners who want overnight mooring.

Prefer a hosted outing? Explore the M.S. Dixie II’s scenic and dining cruises, or Round Hill Pines’ marina and cruise options.

Trailer launching

Use Cave Rock

For a trailered boat, plan around the Cave Rock launch instead of assuming the Zephyr Cove rental marina is a public trailer ramp. Confirm current launch hours, water levels and parking availability.

A southeast-shore landmark

Cave Rock. More than a view.

This dramatic formation is a familiar arrival point on the Nevada shore—and an important cultural place for the Washoe Tribe.

The state park below offers boating access, a small beach and picnic opportunities. Separate park use from any informal overlook route; follow posted boundaries and the park’s climbing restrictions.

Park capacity is limited. Check launch operations and fees directly; launching and leaving a trailer when parking is full is not permitted.
